The EXPLORER Module is the starting point for navigating your buildings and projects, providing a comprehensive view of design, construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
The DOCUMENTS Module centralizes all information, or all types. Team members, based upon their assigned permission levels, can create, view, update, and view documents in one powerful, collaborative collaboration environment. Users need not worry about version control, or tracking down information scattered in emails and file cabinets. Assigned team members have secure access to the most current document, eliminate duplication of effort and minimizing errors and omissions.
Viewers are available for most document types and formats: Pictures, PDFs, Microsoft Office documents, DWG files and Autodesk Revit or IFC format BIM models.
Internal and external team members can easily be added to buildings and assigned tasks within the TEAM Module. With a simple email address, the Building in Cloud system sends secure invites, complete with appropriately assigned privileges and permissions for each team member.
Building in Cloud System Messages and notifications allow you to manage your team’s communications through a messaging and notification tool that is quite similar to your favorite email tool, however, fully integrated within our secure cloud platform.
As noted previously, BIM information is also readily available. BIM models using Autodesk Revit format or open IFC format are easily imported. Information is immediately available for sharing in the original template format.
Building in Cloud’s powerful viewer lets team members explore buildings, floors, categories, or individual models. Federated template management links to a single infinite BIM model building divided into disciplines, plans, floor plans, peripheral areas, and more. Using filters you can explore the BIM objects and assign a component to a team member to resolve a particular problem or accomplish a specific task.
You can add information, documents, images, or any other useful information to your project’s control and monitoring activities for each component of the template.
